About the Facilitators
Marta Struminska-Kutra (PhD, Hab) works as a professor of sociology at VID Specialized University in Oslo and at Kozminski University in Warsaw. Her major area of expertise is social and sustainable innovation, collaborative governance and transdisciplinary research. In the years 2014-2016, she was a Visiting Fellow and Associate Fellow at the Institute for Science, Innovation and Society at Oxford University. She currently works on H2020 project SONNET, exploring social innovation in energy, where she is responsible for the investigation of collaborative governance arrangements for social innovation in energy. >> Read more on ResearchGate
Elli Keränen (Ms.Soc.Sc.) works as RDI Specialist at Diaconia University of Applied Sciences. She has experience in creating innovation ecosystem partnerships, project management and funding, as well as communications for research and policy-making in various sectors (municipal, NGOs, the MFA Finland, the UN). At Diak, she has a special interest in developing international quadruple helix projects related to well-being, health and employment.
Erja Hänninen (Ms.Soc.Sc., Ph.D.) works as Grant Writer at Diaconia University of Applied Sciences. She has vast experience in international development and research funding and designing projects with a track record in fund acquisition. Through experience in varying organisations, she has gained a holistic view of development and research practice at different levels, understanding the needs and interests of all parties and the intersection between practice and policy.
