In this meeting, we will get to know DiakHub, a competence and co-development hub designed for solving challenges in health, social services, and employment, and Zekki, awarded digital service for the young. The aim is to discuss the benefits of Hub concept in HEI’s RDI activities and international cooperation and funding opportunities.

About the facilitators

In the picture Harri Kostilainen.

Harri Kostilainen (Ph.D.) works as an RDI specialist and researcher at Diaconia University of Applied Sciences and Executive Director of Finnish Social Enterprise Research Network (FinSERN). He has over 20 years of experience in social innovations and social enterprises in the context of the renewal of welfare services.


In the picture Reija Paananen.Reija Paananen (Ph.D., Adjunct Professor) works as an RDI specialist and project manager at Diaconia University of Applied Sciences. Her mission is to find ways to prevent young people’s social exclusion, disadvantage, and inequality. Her main interests in research and development target well-being, human-centred services, and service system.


In the picture Elli Keränen

Elli Keränen (Ms.Soc.Sc.) works as RDI Specialist at Diaconia University of Applied Sciences. She has experience in creating innovation ecosystem partnerships, project management and funding, as well as communications for research and policy-making in various sectors (municipal, NGOs, the MFA Finland, the UN). At Diak, she has a special interest in developing international quadruple helix projects related to well-being, health and employment.
