Camilla Mariann Skjældal Cazon / VID Student: “Every voice should be included equally”
Camilla Mariann Skjældal Cazon is Chair of the 3IN Alliance students and studies theology at VID Specialized University. She participated in the alliance’s first student forum meeting in January 2020 and has led the development of the 3IN Student Forum. In her free time, she enjoys cuddling with her puppy, travelling and spending time with friends.
Skjældal Cazon thinks the opportunities for students in the alliance are versatile.
I believe that better inclusion, more integration and involvement are key components in making the world a better place.
– The best part about the alliance for students is that the possibilities it offers are flexible and can be adjusted to each student’s needs. You can travel for student exchange and take new and exciting online courses crossing different disciplines, Skjældal Cazon summarizes.
Skjældal Cazon shares the 3IN’s values: inclusion, integration and involvement.
– I believe that better inclusion, more integration and involvement are key components in making the world a better place. By advancing these goals we get to hear ideas from all over the world, and I think every voice should be included equally, says Skjældal Cazon.
Skjældal Cazon advances these themes already in her studies: She will write her master’s thesis on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development goals.
– If we truly want to stand for inclusion, integration and involvement we must strive to fulfil the Sustainable Development Goals, where poverty is eliminated, everyone has equal rights to education across the world and all the other wonderful things in the SDGs!
