FHWS offers 3IN Alliance students eligibility to participate in the following VirCamp social work courses and the online German language course.

Vir Camp

MODULE 1: Social Work from an International Perspective

Social work from an international perspective is an online course that allows social work students in various countries to learn from each other and to share information and knowledge about social work.

MODULE 2: Social Exclusion and Inclusive Practices in Social Work

Course period: 09.11.2020-05.02.2020

ECTS Credits: 10 CP, BA level

In this course the concept of ‘intersectionality’ will be used as a critical analytic tool to help to understand social exclusion and discrimination and to address anti-oppressive social work. The intersectional approach focuses on the complexity of gender, sexuality, class, age, ethnicity and race.

MODULE 3: Community Work from an International Perspective

Course period: 18.01.2021-28.05.2020

Community work from an international perspective is an online course, that offer social work students, living and working in very different situations the opportunity
to learn from each other and to share information and knowledge important for their work.

German language course

A1 Intensive German

Course period: 15.10.2020 – 15.02.2021

You will start at the level A0, suitable for Students with little or no previous knowledge of German. You will learn to understand and use everyday expressions and very basic phrases related to familiar topics. Upon completion of the course you will know how to:

  • introduce yourself and others,
  • ask and answer questions about personal details,
  • interact in a simple way and participate in simple
  • conversations in slowly and clearly spoken German.
